Her most recent projects have been designing Jack and the Beanstalk for the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond and Costume Supervising Cinderella, a fairytale with The Tobacco Factory, showing at the Mac in Birmingham. Other recent highlights include Designing Dance piece Of Riders and Running Horses for Still House and working as Costume Supervisor with Pimlico Opera at Belmarsh Prison, staging the musical Our House. This Autumn Bianca worked on her second Opera with Opera Project, Supervising and making for Falstaff.
Also in 2015 Bianca began lecturing in Costume Design and Making at Bath Spa University and worked again with the Tobacco Factory, Bristol on Brian Friels play, Living Quarters, set in the 1970’s. This followed on fluidly from Costuming the 1960’s dark comic musical of the Teacup Poisoner with The Egg, Theatre Royal Bath.
Bianca has spent some time in Germany where she was wardrobe Supervisor for The White Horse Theatre Company.
She has been Costume Supervising at Oval House Theatre, london, for the London Via Lagos Festival and Supervised ‘Life Savings’ at the Ustinof Theatre, Bath and then went on to work on ‘The Cafe’, a television comedy written by Ralph Little, produced by Jelly Legs.
She came from a design background originally, having studied Textile Design at Central Saint Martins, but over the past few years she has worked to combine her Fashion and Textiles skills for Theatre and Television.
Past highlights include co-designing Wild West on Mars at the Old Vic Tunnels for musicians Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero’s, with Les Enfant Terribles.
She also has a small print and embroidery collection.
